Biography

Bob  Friesen has spent his 33 year legal career focused on real estate and especially commercial real estate. He couples expertise and innovation in assisting his clients who range from mid to large developers and investors,  to small businesses and individuals. From single family homes to retail shopping centers, office space, warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution facilities, his clients are involved in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, financing and leasing. He is active as an advisor and intermediary for §1031 Like-kind exchanges. Bob is a past member of the Real Property Council for the North Carolina Bar Association, and an affiliate member  of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), serving on its government affairs committee. He routinely gives seminars on § 1031 Like-kind exchanges.
