Biography

With his practical, solution-driven counsel, he assists clients throughout the southeast in business transactions, lending law, employment law and more. Stephen represents a diverse clientele; he often acts as an outside general counsel to smaller companies without in-house lawyers, providing and coordinating legal services to support them in their work.

Stephen works with both individuals and businesses in a wide range of business-related matters, including entity formation, organization structure, governance and acquisitions. He also advises his clients in issues of employment such as confidentiality agreements, discrimination charges and employment terminations. His loan and finance counsel guides lenders and borrowers through their transactions.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys reading, traveling, riding horses and spending time with his Labrador Retriever.
