Biography
Bill Van O’Linda is an experienced, effective, and efficient civil litigator with a successful track record in handling complex legal disputes in state and federal courtrooms in North Carolina and in other states.
His experience is broad and reaches from business and commercial disputes to personal injury and wrongful death claims to general litigation matters. Mr. Van O’Linda is experienced in all aspects of litigation—including depositions, pre-trial and dispositive motions, mediations, arbitrations, bench and jury trials, and appeals—and he has tried over 150 cases to verdict.
Mr. Van O’Linda maintains a substantial family law practice and represents clients in divorce, child custody and support, equitable distribution, and alimony and spousal support.
His clients count on his extensive legal knowledge and include individuals, businesses, and governments. Mr. Van O’Linda is a tireless advocate in the courtroom, but he is also committed to practical solutions, and also often advises clients in matters related to avoiding litigation.
In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and classic cars.
